Description ~

Goldstar is a proven herdsire with an excellent pedigree.  He is medium fawn with vicuna markings with fine, crimpy, dense fleece.  He is a large male with great presence and impeccable conformation.  He has produced some outstanding offspring.  He loves to prance and show and he seems to pass this trait as well as excellent conformation and fine fleece to his offspring.  Goldstar has produced 75% females to date and has thrown the mother's color repeatedly, throwing every color from white to black.

Goldstar is an awesome herdsire in every way.  He has been worth his weight in gold to us.  He has thrown gorgeous, extremely fine and beautifully conformed crias every year.  Here's a sample of what Goldstar has been doing for us lately.  Almost all of his crias had histograms under 20 microns.

His 2005 male cria, Pele, is a beautiful, very very fine fleeced true black cria.  His histogram is spectacular... AFD 15.4, SD 3.5, CV 22.7

Goldstar's daughter Angelica's fleece is a superior elite fleece.  Her histogram is an amazing AFD 14.3, SD 2.9, CV 19.6 wow!!!

As we are changing bloodlines in our herd, here's a wonderful opportunity to obtain a magnificent proven herdsire with an excellent pedigree.

Goldstar has been an excellent breeder for us.  He is able to get the ladies bred quickly and easily.  We also use him as a checker.  He is persistent enough to check the girls and gentle enough to handle if the ladies say "no".  We have come to appreciate Goldstar and he has earned our respect over the years.  He is simply an awesome all around fine breeding male.

Goldstar has won numerous ribbons, which includes first place in the Adult Male Class at the 1997 B.C. Spring Classic Show, as well as title of Male Grand Champion.  Second place ribbons at the 1997 Pacific National Exhibition and Abbotsford Agrifair.
