Marcela's histogram at the age of 15 was an amazing  25.7; 5.1; 19.8.  She has kept an incredibly fine fleece with great uniformity and passes this on to her offspring.  Marcela's crias are all high end.  She has produced 2 well known herdsires so far - Silver Dollar (out of The Silversmith) and Show Me The Money (out of Royal Fawn) and several outstanding females.

Maestro is one of a kind with his superior pedigree!

He won Reserve Color Champion at the Oklahoma City State Fair with the judge commenting on his fineness and great handle.

1/22/07 Update: Maestro does it again. Another Blue Ribbon at almost 3 years old. The judge at the Oklahoma show loved his fineness and density.

10/07 Maestro competed with males over a year younger and he placed second in his class. The judge commented to the audience that this is what we should all be breeding for - fleece that continues to be fine past their second birthday.

Maestro gets his fineness from both his dam and sire. We are expecting he will pass this onto the next generation. We are eagerly awaiting his crias...

So if you're breeding for fineness that lasts and lasts then Maestro is the stud you want your girls to breed to.

Maestro is proudly co-owned with Masterpiece Alpacas and he is currently standing stud at By The Light Alpaca Ranch in northwest Arkansas!
